"Community Service Education" has achieved remarkable success since it became part of the school curriculum in 2000.
"Service Learning", in the literal sense, is the combination of service and learning; in other words, it is learning from serving, an idea which echoes Dewey's "learning by doing". The purpose of this course is to provide students opportunities to learn by hands-on practice. Students can grow with his community by serving it and sharing resources with other community members. Ultimately, it is hoped that this course can improve our surroundings and turn our society into a more harmonious and righteous one, if both the server and the served can feel pride and honor in the process of "give" and "take".
